Text message consent
RPG MasterTool sends one kind of text message: an invitation to join a private tabletop role-playing campaign. This page describes who sends it, how consent is obtained beforehand, and how to stop receiving them.
Who sends the message
A Game Master running a campaign in RPG MasterTool at rpg.soheililabs.com. They sign in to their own account, open their campaign, and enter the mobile number of a player they are inviting. Messages are sent one at a time, to one person, by a named individual who knows them.
How consent is obtained
- The Game Master asks the player directly — in person, or in an existing conversation — whether they want to join the campaign and whether they would like the invitation sent to their phone.
- Only after the player agrees does the Game Master enter their number. The number is typed by the Game Master, so the consent is given to them and recorded by them.
- The invitation form states plainly that a mobile number may be used, and that the Game Master can send the invitation link themselves instead.
- There is no list, no import, no purchased data, and no way to send to more than one number at a time.
What is sent
A single message per invitation. No follow-ups, no reminders, no marketing, and nothing recurring. If the player does not join, nothing further is sent.

How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and the number is unsubscribed immediately; no further messages can be sent to it. Reply HELP for contact information. You can also simply ignore the invitation — it expires after seven days on its own.
Message and data rates may apply, as set by your carrier.
